In September1999, acesa, Aigües de Barcelona and Immobiliària Colonial founded the abertis foundation.
The goal of the Foundation is to study the impact of large-scale infrastructure projects on the surrounding territory in all its economic, demographic and envionmental aspects.
Its headquarters is the Castle of Castellet del Foix, which will host these educational activities.
The Foundation is aimed not only at professionals, businesses and researchers, but also at any member of the public concerned about the relationship between development, man and the environment.
