Every hour the Operations Centre receives information about the humidity, temperature and other parameters registered in the motorway area.
We also have the services of a specialist company for carrying out the analysis of this data and offering us individualised weather forecast services, in permanent contact with the Spanish Meteorological Institute (INM) and the Catalan Meteorological Service (SMC).
Preventative work is also carried out, by monitoring temperature and humidity levels, so as to be prepared to act in those parts of the motorway which are at risk from frost.
Thanks to its large vehicle fleet, the Operations Centre is well-prepared to tackle the worst weather conditions. The vehicles can be adapted to respond to almost any situation, with their snow-moving equipment effectively removing snow from the road surface.
