Motorway AP-7

Roadworks AP-7: Maçanet - La Jonquera

At abertis autopistas we strive to make sure your journeys are as safe and comfortable as possible. For this reason, we are working on extending the motorway with one additional lane in each direction in the following stretches of the AP-7:

Maçanet - Fornells

(Completed in July 2010)

Length 18.7 km. Widened to 3 lanes.

Fornells - Vilademuls

Length 19.3 km. Widened to 4 lanes and new links for Fornells, Sant Gregori and Vilademuls.

Vilademuls - Figueres south

Length 17.3 km. Widened to 3 lanes.

Figueres south - La Jonquera

Length 22.3 km. Widened to 3 lanes.

The investment made by abertis autopistas in these improvements will not entail any rise in the rates and will extend the free section between Fornells de la Selva and Vilademuls.

We're working for you and your safety

During roadworks, remember that you will find the necessary measures to ensure your safety and that of the people involved in the roadworks:

  • Reduction of the hard shoulders in the traffic direction in the roadworks sections and width of lanes to 3.4 and 3.0 metres to maintain the maximum number of lanes in operation and improve the traffic flow.
  • 80 km/h speed limit, which will only add a couple of minutes onto the journey time but will ensure your safety.
  • 7.5 km sections of roadworks which will be carried out progressively to minimise any inconvenience.
